Check In & Check Out Times and Procedures

  • Check-in time is after 4:00 pm. Earlier check-in may be possible for an extra charge, and must be pre-arranged.
  • Check out time is 12:00 noon. All keys should be returned to the front desk before 12:00 noon to avoid extra charges. A charge of $250+ taxes per lock will be applied to your credit card if all keys are not returned as we will have to re-key the condo for security purposes.
  • In order to avoid extra charges after check out, please perform the following check out tasks:
    • Wash all dishes which can include loading and running the dishwasher. Dishes may be left clean in the dishwasher. Any unwashed dishes will result in a $20+ taxes cleaning fee added to the final bill.
    • Pick up all trash, including bathroom trash and toiletries, and place in outside trash cans. Any trash remaining in the condo will add a $20+ taxes fee to the final bill.
    • Wipe down all kitchen and bathroom surfaces with a damp rag. Excess messiness will result in $60 per hour per housekeeper fee added to the final bill.

Reservation Policy

  • We require 50% of your booking total (including taxes & fees) as a deposit at time of reservation and full payment will be charged upon arrival.
  • Reservations made within 10 days of arrival require full payment at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

  • Silver Skis Chalet retains 50% of the deposit (including applicable fees and taxes already collected) for cancellations made up to 22 days prior to arrival.
  • Silver Skis Chalet retains 100% of the deposit (including applicable taxes already collected) for cancellations within 21 days prior to arrival.
  • Cancellation of reservations for holiday periods including Christmas, New Years, MLK Weekend, President’s Weekend, Memorial Day weekend, Independence Day and Labor Day weekend will forfeit the entire deposit (including taxes & fees already collected) regardless of cancellation date.
  • For reservations made within 10 days of arrival, we require full payment at time of booking. Payment is non-refundable if canceled.

Rental Terms and Conditions

  • Your reservation is for a specified number of guests. Please let us know prior to your arrival day if your guest number changes so we can prepare the condo appropriately for your stay.
  • Actual condo # assignment is subject to availability and may change. Silver Skis reserves the right to select which condo renters will be assigned to and renters are not guaranteed a specific unit.
  • Room prices include free parking for two vehicles. Additional vehicles are $20+taxes (if available).
  • Renters must be at least 25 years of age and must occupy the condo for the duration of the reservation.
  • Renters agree that children under 12 will be supervised at all times.
  • Quiet times are 10pm-8am. No large parties or gatherings will be permitted.
  • We reserve the right to ask unruly guests to leave. No refunds will be given for persons being asked to leave the premises.
  • All condominiums are non-smoking and non-vaping. This includes balconies, the courtyard and pool. A $200+ taxes fee will be applied for policy violations.
  • Pets are not allowed. A fee of $300+taxes per night will be applied for policy violations.
  • Upon check out and departure, all trash must be removed from the condo and placed in trash cans and recycle bins located under the courtyard stairs. Failure to do so will result in $20+taxes fee.
  • Upon departure, all dishes must be washed. Failure to do so will result in $20 + taxes fee.
  • Upon departure, the kitchen and bathroom surfaces should be left free of mess and debris. Excessive messiness will result in additional housekeeping charges to be billed at an hourly housekeeping rate.
  • Silver Skis Chalet is independently owned and operated under a special use permit issued by the United States Forest Service. Silver Skis Chalet shall not be held responsible for weather related closures at Crystal Mountain Resort, Mount Rainier National Park, or similar.
  • Due to our remote location, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted power or internet service. Sometimes Mother Nature decides we need to disconnect and we don’t really have a choice in the matter.

Silver Skis Private Swimming Pool Policies

  • Silver Skis swimming pool is only for registered guests staying on site. Guests are not permitted to invite non-Silver Skis persons into the pool or pool deck.
  • Persons staying at other lodging properties do not have access to the Silver Skis swimming pool.
  • No Glass containers are allowed on the pool deck.
  • Pool patrons must obey all posted rules while in the pool deck area.
  • Children in diapers must wear water appropriate swimmer diapers with waterproof covering.
  • Violation of pool rules and unwillingness to follow management direction will result removal from the pool area and possible early termination of the reservation. All monies already paid will be forfeited upon early reservation termination.

COVID Terms and Conditions

While at Silver Skis we ask that our homeowners, guests, and visitors follow the guidelines listed below for each family or group.

  • You verify that no one has COVID-19 symptoms or tested positive with COVID-19 within 14 days prior to visit.
  • You agree to immediately depart Silver Skis if anyone has symptoms.
  • You agree to social distancing and masking guidelines while at Silver Skis.
  • Agree to social distancing during special maintenance/housekeeping calls. (For example: appliance repairs)
  • If for any reason Silver Skis is forced to shut down due to COVID-19 related issues, guests will be given the option to reschedule their stay or full refunds will be granted for all reservations scheduled within the closure dates, minus credit card processing fees.

Travel Insurance

  • Travel insurance is optional and not required, however, we strongly urge you to consider this insurance when planning your vacation. Most travel insurance policies provide emergency assistance and family emergencies, such as illness or death in the family.
